Attribution: Robert Terrell Bledsoe, Dickens, Journalism, Music: Household Words and All the Year Round (London: Continuum, 2012), p. 124. Graham Storey, editor of Volume 9 of the 'Pilgrim' edition of Dickens's Letters (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1997) also states that the article is 'no doubt by Chorley, music critic of the Athenaeum and a close friend of Hullah's' (357n.).
