                         MONEY MARKET.

Consols at and above par, with no prospect of a fall, a reduction
in the interest of French treasury bonds, and a sudden and
inexplicable liking for Austrian securities by English, but
chiefly by French speculators and capitalists, are the only
events that have attracted much attention in the money markets
since our last report.

Shares of all sorts keep pace with government securities in
value.
